I qualified with a Diploma in psychodynamic counselling and am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I work part-time at Basingstoke Counselling Service alongside my private practice and abide by the ethical framework of these organisations. I work with individual adults, and with couples. I am also a training therapist on psychodynamic courses.
I regularly work with clients across a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, identity issues, abuse and bereavement. I specialise in open-ended, long-term psychodynamic counselling.
I work out of a comfortable consulting room in central Reading, within easy reach of Reading train station.
In order to make sure that I work ethically and my work is kept to a high standard, I meet regularly with my clinical supervisor and also undertake regular Continuing Professional Development workshops in order to keep my knowledge up-to-date with current thinking.
